Peccata Mundi | MNAC

  • Antoni Miralda

We were in charge of the technical production of Antoni Miralda's Peccata Mundi ceremony-performance installation at MNAC on April 6, 2019. A unique collective act around the work Lamb of the Apocalypse with Miralda as master of ceremonies. Accompanied by a tasting menu inspired by medieval recipes and the music of two formations of the Fundació Conservatori Liceu.

Lamb of the Apocalypse, the 18×15 m tapestry quilt exhibited in the Oval Room, which reproduces the Agnus Dei from the Romanesque mural painting of Sant Climent de Taüll. A creation by Antoni Miralda, Velázquez Prize for Plastic Arts 2018, who is part of the Honeymoon Project (1986-1992), which celebrated the wedding between the Statue of Liberty and the Columbus Monument. Accompanying the work, the music of the organ in the Oval Room of the MNAC sounded again symbolically.
