Imaginary Limit | MIRA Festival
Landscapes was in charge of the production of Imaginary Limit, an installation by digital artist Nick Verstand created site-specific for MIRA Festival in 2018 using the architecture of a Fabra i Coats' room as a canvas.
Imaginary Limit is an audiovisual installation that symbolizes the internal limitations we impose on ourselves by influencing our perception of light and sound. Through the use of optical illusions created by materialized laser light synchronized with spatially positioned sound, the viewer's perception is influenced and subsequently altered in a three-dimensional environment. By constructing these imaginary boundaries of light, the audiovisual composition constantly reconfigures the perceived environment.
