Large-scale sculpture & video installation that took over Galeria Melissa’s Broadway store for two months over summer. At the entrance of the store, huge shards made of aluminium & dichroic plastic both reflected the accompanying video and allowed viewers to see through it, blurring the line between real & digital. The aim of the installation was to literally bring the videos to life as well as to provide a bit of respite from the NY summer heat. Build and technical design by SOFTlab. Due to the huge success of the installation, the following year it was adapted for Melissa’s London store in Covent Garden, reinterpreted for the two months over Christmas.
